Your Public Safety Solution...
The traditional Land Mobile Radio solution offers reliability, but llimited bandwidth to meet advancing technology requirements of its users. MCW Wireless provides Federal, State, and City agencies with a seemless Public Safety wireless solution, meeting their growing communications and interoperability needs.
MCW Wireless FlxMesh 4 provides a Public Safety Wireless solution in the FCC 4.9GHz Band (4940-4990MHz) offering the capability for providing higher bandwidth to mobile users then traditional LMR technologies, and support broadband solutions. Common types of use of the Public Safety network offered by the FlxMesh 4 are:
Qualified Uses of the 4.9GHz Band
All communications over the 4.9GHz Public Safety band are limited to the protection of life, health or property. The FCC assigned the 4940-4990 MHz frequency band for use by the following public safety agencies:
-
Cities, Towns and Municipalities
-
Counties
-
States
-
Government Agencies
-
Department of Defense
-
Non-governmental entities (NGOs) sponsored by a qualified government agency
-
Organizations with critical infrastructure, such as utility companies
Our FlxMesh 4 solution is equipped with a rugged NEMA enclosure that can be setup in permanent locations, semi-permanent and quick ADHOC deployments. The benefit of the FlxMesh 4 is its software versatility, which can be configured for PTP, PTMP, Mesh, Mobility and WiFi Access. The FlxMesh 4 offers an optional GPS radio, allowing command centers to see the location of a FlxMesh 4M unit deployed in public safety vehicles.
